2019 / 20 Charges Update
Although Suffolk Coastal District Council and Waveney District Council will be abolished on 01/04/19 and East Suffolk council formed, we will remain Suffolk Coastal Port Health Authority. Any cheque payments made to us for our services will need to continue to be made payable to Suffolk Coastal Port Health Authority or SCPHA. Please follow guidance issued by East Suffolk Council for payments being made to any other part of the Council.
All of our charges including those for POAO are still under review to assess the impact of the UK’s exit from Europe. We hope to be in a position to publish these within the next week.
The charges for Ship Sanitation Inspections are however agreed nationally by the Association of Port Health Authorities so have already been agreed and are detailed below and represent an increase in line with inflation. The new and old rates for these are replicated below and the new charges will be applicable for inspections which take place from 01/04/19 onwards.
